Our Commitment
At Renaissance College of HM & CT, we believe in fostering a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for all students. Ragging, in any form, is strictly prohibited and will not be tolerated. Our anti-ragging policy is designed to protect the dignity and respect of every student.
Understanding Ragging
Ragging refers to any act that involves abuse, humiliation, or harassment of students, particularly new entrants, under the guise of camaraderie or orientation. It can take various forms, including:
- Physical Abuse: Any act that causes physical harm or discomfort.
- Verbal Abuse: Any form of abusive or derogatory language.
- Mental Abuse: Any act that leads to psychological harm or stress.
- Cyber Ragging: Harassment or bullying through digital platforms and social media.
Our Policies
To ensure a ragging-free campus, we have implemented the following measures:
- Zero Tolerance: Any student found guilty of ragging will face strict disciplinary action, including suspension or expulsion.
- Awareness Programs: Regular workshops, seminars, and orientation sessions to educate students about the consequences of ragging.
- Support System: A dedicated helpline and counseling services for victims of ragging.
- Monitoring Committees: Anti-ragging committees and squads to monitor and prevent any ragging activities.
